6 Mistakes to Avoid Making with Your Air Conditioner
August 2, 2016Welcome to R Mechanical’s first HVAC blog post! This blog is aimed to be a learning tool for all of our readers. We want to discuss and explain all that is HVAC in a way that makes sense without having to be educated in the technical terms. Before jumping into HVAC information, we would like our readers to be able to understand our company and what got us to where we are today.
The Beginning
In October of 2013 R Mechanical Heating, Air, and Boilers was created in Omaha, Nebraska. With Debi Martines as the owner and CEO and Steve Martines as the only service technician they began their journey to success. Earlier in 2013, after several years of work at another heating, air conditioning and boiler company Steve made the decision to part ways and follow an alternative path. He realized that he shared different morals and values than his employer. Knowing how trustworthy and talented Steve was, his previous customers maintained loyalty after his departure. That demonstration of allegiance was when Steve and his wife Debi made the well-educated decision to create a dependable family owned and operated company. When beginning to name their business they wanted their customers to feel as if they were a part of the company. After tossing around suggestions, they loved the idea of naming their business Our Mechanical; to include everyone who has been involved with the business, wanting to make the name stand out they landed on R Mechanical Heating, Air, and Boilers. They aspired to center R Mechanical Heating, Air, and Boilers on positive morals and honesty and to provide their customers a high-quality HVAC experience with a reliable, hard working company.
For eight months, the two of them worked diligently to strengthen their company. They were able to move to their first office space in May 2014 and only two months later they were able to hire their first service technician outside of the family. As time passed, they came across struggles that anyone would expect a newly formed company to face, but looked at each bump in the road with confidence that they would succeed. Each obstacle provided the two of them with the knowledge and experience to strengthen their company and they were able to learn how to build R Mechanical Heating and Air up to standards their customers deserved. They were able to specify their wants and needs in employees in order to create an exceptional team that shares their same values.
Present Day
Fast forward about three years and R Mechanical Heating & Air has relocated to a newer, bigger office building based in Ralston, Nebraska, they employ four service technicians aside from Steve and two college students that assist Debi in the office, and have gained an outstanding customer base. Steve and Debi continue to run their company with honesty and reliability and make sure that their employees share these same ethics. Their outstanding service technicians provide each and every customer with dignity and respect. These hardworking men prove that high-quality, affordable service does exist. With this exceptional group of employees, R Mechanical Heating and Air’s HVAC, boiler, and customer service is unbeatable.

Being formed only three years ago, we have made major progressions in the heating, air conditioning and boiler community. When starting R Mechanical Steve was the only service technician, providing services to residential homes around the Omaha area. As we have welcomed additional service technicians and extended our list of services, R Mechanical now not only services residential homes in the Omaha, Council Bluffs, and surrounding area, but also aids in commercial businesses. We are a widely trusted HVAC company that is happy to help any residential or commercial business in need of any HVAC maintenance, repair, or installation.
Not only do we provide excellent service, but we offer excellent prices too! Our prices accurately gauge the quality of the work that our customers receive. We want our customers to receive first-rate service without completely emptying their wallet. Our efficient service technicians take full effort and concentration to each and every job. There are a variety of factors that affect our pricing decisions, such as a commercial job will be a slightly larger price then residential work. There are some jobs that require more than one service technician to accurately be completed, hence an increase on the job price. Our prices are honest to the amount of work being done. We only charge our customers for the amount and quality of work that they receive.
